Please take a few minutes to help stop the mindless persecution of coyotes in Ontario. Dalton McGuinty knows the Coyote Killing Contests are both illegal and immoral, but unless you and I let him know that we will no longer tolerate such cruelty, it will continue.
It’s bad enough that coyotes can be killed year-round in Ontario, leaving newborn pups to die, but if these barbaric contests are not stopped, it will add another whole dimension to this barbaric 'sport'. One where people and their pets will be afraid to venture into natural areas this summer.
For convenience, you can simply choose to use some of the points listed in the following link in your email to McGuinty, with a copy to your MPP and, if you live in the Ottawa area, your City Councillor. Please bcc webmaster@wildlifeontario.ca as well. Please do not forward the 'Take Action' page to politicians, however, as it will not count as personal comment.

Together, we can make a difference for these animals. Please forward this to your friends and family as well. To have the greatest impact, Dalton McGuinty needs to receive a large number of letters over the next few days, so even if you’ve written before, do so again.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 416 - 462 - 9541 or e-mail contact@environmentvoters.org
